Yee Naaldlooshii - aka Werewolf, Anjing Ajak, Ulfhednar, Loup-Garou
History
The Yee have been known by many names in the past: Anjing Ajak, Ulfhednar, Loup-Garou, and most commonly Werewolves just to name a few. Originally the Yee took on the Man-beast form as a means of scaring off would be intruders of their lands (which inadvertently was their downfall). This breed gathers it's Lonshin (life force) from the energy of the moon, which is why they are most commonly seen on nights with full moons. Originally the Yee were friendly with our kind, and chose to live among us during the daytime in a human form. However, our fear of the unknown led to an inevitable separation of their kind from ours. During the height of the werewolf hysteria in Europe, human's meant to destroy all members of the Yee. Their "justice" was truly blind as both Yee and humans fell in the madness. With a pitiful heart the Yee crept back into the darkness, where many still remain to this day. On the North American continent the Yee resided aware of their brethren's persecution, but still chose to live amongst the natives of the land. When the Europeans came, the Yee warned the Natives to avoid any and all contact. They had seen the devastation these strangers could cause, and therefore should not be trusted. The native tribes that chose to die rather than fall under the stranger's persecution were seen as honorable by the Yee. Tribes who were ultimately forced by the stranger's will were looked upon with remorse and pity. Those that chose to work with the strangers were seen as betrayers, and were treated with hatred by the Yee. This hatred has continued on in today, and often stories tell of attacks on the Yee toward natives rather than strangers. Currently, the largest population of Yee are from the American state of New Mexico and the wilds of Canada.
Description
Most commonly observed in a Man-beast form that stands roughly 6-8ft tall. This form resembles a bipedal beast which is most commonly wolf-like, although coyote, owl, fox, and crow also may be emulated. The Yee have paws that are more elongated than a traditional beast's, that serve as functioning dexterous hands. They are highly intelligent, and have the ability to perform many forms of natural magick. Those Yee who still reside with humans often take on human visages, although there is always a tell tale sign somewhere on their body illustrating their inner-beast. Yee who have forsaken human kind now find comfort in living
amongst the beasts in animal forms. These wild beast Yee often are identified by the small pieces of jewelry they wear, and occasionally the flash of humanity in their eyes.
